If you have dental insurance, chances are that you may not have a complete understanding of what your policy does and does not cover. Due to the many changes in insurance policies, it is a difficult task to interpret each individual policy. Although we try to stay aware of these changes, it is not always possible.
As a courtesy to our patients, we will process your claims for covered services; however, it is your responsibility to know your individual coverage. If your insurance company does not make payment after 30 days, it is your responsibility to follow up with them. After 60 days if your insurance has not paid we will ask that you pay for the services rendered.
If you bring in your benefit booklet we will be happy to go over it with you, otherwise you will be given an estimate of your benefits. Please remember that your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company.
When your individual or family dental needs exceed $250, you can receive a 5 percent bookkeeping reduction when you pay for services at the time services are rendered. This only applies if you do not have an existing balance on your account.
For those age 65 or over, we offer a 10 percent discount, which is credited to your account after insurance claim settlement.
If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you give us 48 hours notice or a charge may be incurred.
